Be Water, My Friend

Name today: Soaring Eagle

Today I get to: Clean out the office and prepare it for new furniture which hopefully will include a bookcase or two so I can have more space in the art room!

Toast of the day: Here's to enjoying our own inspirations!

Be water, my friend.
~Bruce Lee

Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before. ~Edgar Allan Poe, The Raven

In honor of Edgar Allan Poe's birthday today, here are more images inspired by his words:
All my days are trances
and all my nightly dreams
are where thy gray eye glances,
and where thy footstep gleams
in what ethereal dances,
by what eternal streams.
~To One in Paradise

And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor,
shall be lifted, nevermore!
~The Raven

How I adore good ol' Poe. I cover some of his literature in October, and I often forget about his birthday in January (like I did this year). Thank you for sharing your Poe inspired images! I especially love the last one!
