Thanks Tammie! It's just using a pencil or as I prefer, a pen, to make a bunch of different style marks on a drawing which gives it texture, depth and form. It's fun and any mark is game: loops, scribbles, scratches, hatches, x's and o's...it's all about being loose and free with the instrument!
